HEAD MEDICINE PERSON

(1)   To look after the members of the Indian Creek Band, to help   relieve their pain as YOWA would have you to do.

(2) To help other people if they ask you to help, and as long as they are not taking advantage of you for the wrong reason.

(3)   Must be at 98% of all Board meetings, and hold the seat on the Board of Directors; to be present to cast your vote if it should be called on.

(4)   Must need to know when it is time to rest, and regain your own health back, for the people need to know, that their Medicine people will be well and there for them when they need them.

(5)   The Head Medicine Person must send one (1) of their other medicine people out to see someone who is sick, so not to pull themself down so far that they become sick.

(6)    Be a leader over your Medicine People as not to sound as you are trying to put them down, or boss them around, be a friend and a great leader, all Medicine People must attend the Board Meeting.

(7)    The Medicine People must always follow the laws of the Great Medicine Circle, and walk the path of the Medicine Person as written in the Laws of Totemism the Medicine Circle. 

(8)   The Head Medicine Person must meet regularly, or at least once a month with the other Medicine People under them to hear all that they are doing, and sit in the Great Medicine Circle to gain power from YOWA.

(9)   Never let the gift that YOWA has given you go to your head, remember always that the power comes from YOWA and not from yourself. You are nothing without YOWA.

(10) Give prayer every day, give thanks to him for letting you use this gift. Do not misuse this gift that he has let you use.
